TUV Austria

Bio-Dì Biopolymer has been certified OK Compost and OK Compost Home issued by TUV Austria.

Today, the only way to be sure that a product is biodegradable and compostable is obtaining the aforementioned certification. The OK Compost certification ensure full compliance with the technical standard EN13432. The compliance with that standard is now mandatory for the commercialization of shopping bags, which have to be biodegradable and compostable. This obligation has been established in Italy for urgent measures on the environment.
